Salary: 138,000 - 162,000 USD per year Requirements:

• We require a candidate with the following qualifications and skills:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
• 10 to 14 years of experience in relevant roles, specifically designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments.
• Expertise in DevOps, Java, JSON, Workflow, SOA, Solution Design, MQ, Cloud Hosting, Cloud Basics, Cloud Provisioning, API, REST API, and PL/SQL.
• Experience in Airport Operations and Airlines is mandatory.
• Proficient in Java/J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot, JSON or XML, GitHub/ADO, Integration/API technologies (REST API, JMS, MQ), Deployment technologies (WebSphere Application Server, IBM/Azure Cloud), Source Control (GitHub, Azure DevOps), CICD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), and data management (Oracle SQL).

Responsibilities:

• As a Sr. Functional Architect, your responsibilities will include:
• Writing tests and documenting technical work products (e.g. code scripts, processes) according to organizational standards and practices.
• Solving technical problems and building components/libraries with far-ranging impact.
• Delivering high-quality work and coaching junior engineers on technical craftsmanship.
• Conducting root cause analysis to identify systemic problems and defining action items for resolution.
• Designing thoughtfully integrated systems that promote organizational best practices across product domains.
• Overseeing the management of technical debt in existing systems and driving opportunities to eliminate it within ongoing implementations.
• Anticipating scaling latency and durability challenges and guiding teams in implementing strategies to mitigate them.
• Partnering with the security organization to incorporate security-conscious practices early in the lifecycle of new systems.
• Evaluating technical risks and guiding toward practical prevention strategies.
• Reflecting on squad delivery practices and recommending improvements to leadership.
• Maintaining a focus on reducing redundancy across teams and identifying opportunities for reuse.
• Measuring team performance and identifying development areas for individuals.
• Exploring emerging technologies and leading the development of prototypes with minimal guidance.

This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required. The annual salary for this position ranges from $138,000 to $162,000, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for our discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance.
