As a Registered Nurse (RN) - Private Duty Nurse at MedCare, you’ll have the opportunity to provide one-on-one care in a setting where patients thrive—their own homes. Registered Nurse (RN) Job Duties:

• Responsible for delivering quality skilled care to the pediatric population in the home setting for 8–12 hour shifts
• Enables child to remain at home with their family instead of an in-patient facility
• Care for clients that have serious illnesses or disabilities may be recovering from serious injuries or extensive surgery
• Will be expected to assess their clients' conditions during every visit. This may include taking a client's vital signs, care and maintenance of gastrostomy tubes, seizure activity monitoring, tracheostomy care and maintenance, and/or care and maintenance of CPAP/BiPAP/ventilators.

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• 6 months pediatric home health care as an Registered Nurse (RN) preferred but not required
• Current CPR card, Driver’s License, and Auto Liability Insurance

Registered Nurse (RN) Work Schedule:

• Full-Time and Part-Time openings available
• Available shifts for days, nights, weekdays, and/or weekends
• Openings in the Greater Houston and all surrounding areas
