We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician for a manufacturer specializing in electrical machine installations and power systems . This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, machines, and equipment while ensuring compliance with state and local building codes and the National Electrical Code.

Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical machines, equipment, and power systems .
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance for buildings, grounds, and machinery.
• Set up and adjust machinery for production runs , ensuring operational efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair machine breakdowns , including pneumatic and hydraulic systems .
• Conduct safety evaluations before performing maintenance work.
• Utilize PLC troubleshooting and programming knowledge as needed.
• Operate and maintain cranes, forklifts, milling machines, lathes, welding, and cutting equipment .
• Perform emergency repairs and corrective actions following safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace , adhering to post-maintenance procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED required .
• 1-2 years of maintenance-related experience required .
• Valid driver’s license required .
• Electrical/programming certifications are a plus.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, follow verbal directives, and adhere to safety procedures .
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of fractions, decimals, and measuring tools .
• Ability to lift 20-80 lbs. , stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Own basic tools required.
• Permanent 2nd shift position with flexibility for overtime.
