The Role

Emergency Department RN

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States

My Clients Emergency Department is currently looking for a Registered Nurse with a dedication to excellence in patient care and a drive to make a difference in critical healthcare situations.

The Emergency Department (ED) is composed of a 73-bed unit and consists of 7 care centers within the unit, which include: Urgent Care Center, Chest Pain Evaluation Center, Emergent Care Center, Level II-Trauma Center, Pediatric Center, Rapid Evaluation Unit (REU), and an Observation Center.

My client is the largest community hospital in Maryland consisting of 483-licensed beds that offers training for more than 140 residents and 400 medical students yearly .

JOB SUMMARY:

As a member of the patient care team, the RN provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and, resource for patients and their families.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Graduate of accredited School of Nursing - BSN or higher is required upon start date

· Current Maryland Registered Nurse License or Compact Licensure (in accordance with current rules)

· American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

· ACLS within 6 months of hire
