Job Description

Corporate Inventory Control Analyst

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, diligent, and responsible inventory controller to join our growing team. In this position, you will manage inventory through the use of a computerized database system. The successful candidate for this role must be a team player and possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads.

Inventory Control Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee inventory and supply chain management at our cross-docks.
  2. Perform inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock.
  3. Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts. Generate, prepare and file financial inventory reports and review reports daily with the team.
  4. Review documentation and monitor product movement to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records.
  5. Review open orders on a daily basis. Meet deadlines, be proactive, communicate effectively, and ensure all IC duties are handled in a professional and efficient manner.
  6. Maintain the accuracy of the physical inventory at the cross-docks. Ensure that cycle counts are being conducted on a timely and regular basis.
  7. Communicate margin issues to buyers and follow up for timely response.
  8. Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs.
  9. Analyze and determine reasons for negative inventory and margins.
  10. Nurture positive relationships with our 3PLs and buyers, and provide customer service as needed.

Requirements:

  1. BA/BS Degree or equivalent in Inventory Control, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is preferred.
  2. Minimum of two years of related experience in warehousing, retail, wholesale, or logistics.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good customer service skills. Good with office software and apps.
  4. Ability to multi-task and perform in a dynamic environment. Impeccable organization and efficiency skills. Highly organized and efficient in approaching tasks.
  5. Strong attention to details, team player and high work ethic.
  6. Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  7. Ability to work overtime as needed.

Job Type: Full-time.

Monday-Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm.
